We were there for our anniversary with another couple who also were celebrating their anniversary. Mary made us the best breakfasts we ever had and Peter was always available to answer any questions and be of assistance. Accomodations were very clean and we were supplied with everything we needed.They made us feel just like family. Mary and Peter made us feel like family. The rooms are excellent and Mary is a fantastic cook! We highly recommend this place! We are considering a trip back to the Pearl this fall. The accomodations, breakfast and of course the hosts were superb! Peter and Mary are very gracious-we felt quite at home. We want to go back when we can take advantage of the lake front and get in the water (it was a little cold in mid-April.) The Pearl is surrounded by many wineries and if you just want a beer, the Eagle in Himrod is the happenin' place.
