The season has taken off with a bang. At The Pearl, we were ready with new
recipes, new flat screen TV’s in the guest rooms, and in 3 of the room’s new
bottom-up blinds. We also have a mobile site that makes it easier for our guests
to make on-line reservations.
As we look over our list of guests coming this season, we
see the names of many returning guests.
We are so humbled to see that as of today, 44% of our reservations are from
returning guests. Those stats will
probably change over the season since returning guests tend to make reservations
early. It is fairly common that people
from different areas meet, enjoy each other, and together book another date.
Also, couples come each year on the date of an anniversary or birthday.
Nearby, Seneca Lake has a new winery and brewery – Starkey’s
LookOut, about 2 miles south of us. In addition to
beer and wine tasting, they have a food court that offers appetizers and hors
d’oeuvres. And on Friday nights, they
have a band while you enjoy the beer and wine. You can check out their website at
